Doulas Supporting Doulas

A place to talk shop with doulas who get it

Billing insurance as a doula is new territory in most states, and the best answers often come from someone who has just been through it. Ask questions, share what worked, and meet doulas from across the country.

Community guidelines

  1. Protect families' privacy. Never share client names, birth details, photos, Medicaid IDs or anything that could identify a family.
  2. Be kind. Doulas come from many trainings, traditions and communities. Disagree with ideas, never with people.
  3. No selling. Sharing a resource is welcome; advertising isn't.
  4. It's peer advice. Payer rules change often, so double-check anything before you bill on it — and our team is always here to help.

Free for any doula. Our team reviews each request — usually within one business day.
